Zanesfield is a tiny Logan County village 45 miles northwest of Columbus, reached via State Route 540 off US Route 33. The 161-person farming community sits in Ohio's agricultural heartland, surrounded by corn and soybean fields. Most visitors come from Columbus or Dayton for family visits or small-town exploration. The village preserves a one-room schoolhouse from 1876 on Main Street.
