Zaleski is a small town of 386 people in southeastern Ohio's forested hills, about 60 miles southeast of Columbus via US-33 and State Route 278. Most visitors come for Zaleski State Forest, which covers over 26,000 acres of reclaimed strip mine land with extensive hiking and backpacking trails.
