York is a tiny farming community in north-central North Dakota with just six residents, making it one of the state's smallest named places. Located in Benson County about 60 miles from the Canadian border, it's reached via County Road 3 west from US Highway 281. The nearest services are in Rugby, 25 miles southeast. York holds the distinction of being one of North Dakota's smallest incorporated communities.
