Yerington is a small farming town in Nevada's Mason Valley, about an hour south of Carson City via US 95 and Highway 95A. The area serves as a stop between Reno and Las Vegas on Highway 95, with local routes connecting through rural ranch country to Smith Valley. The town features Yerington Municipal Airport with its original 1941 WPA-era terminal building still in operation.
