Yampa is a tiny farming town in northwestern Colorado's Yampa River Valley, about 20 miles north of Steamboat Springs via Highway 131. Most visitors pass through on the scenic drive between Steamboat and Wyoming, though some come specifically for the annual Corn Roast Festival in August, where locals roast thousands of ears of locally grown sweet corn.
