Wyoming is a small city in east-central Minnesota, about 30 miles north of Minneapolis via Interstate 35. The main route is I-35 north from the Twin Cities, with Highway 61 offering a scenic alternative along the St. Croix River. Most traffic comes from the metro area for day trips or continues north toward Duluth. The city was named after Wyoming Valley in Pennsylvania by 1850s settlers from that region.
