Wyoming is a small Illinois farming town of 1,600 people along State Route 17, about halfway between Galesburg and Princeton. Interstate 80 lies 15 miles south for connections to Chicago or the Quad Cities. The surrounding prairie farmland stretches endlessly under big skies. The town's crown jewel is the 1895 red brick Stark County Courthouse, a towering Romanesque Revival landmark visible for miles across the flat terrain.
