Wyatt is a tiny farming community in Missouri's southeastern Bootheel, reachable via Interstate 55 and Highway 80 near the Mississippi River. Most visitors come from St. Louis or Memphis on longer trips to explore the rural delta region. The area sits in the historic New Madrid Seismic Zone, where massive 1811-1812 earthquakes once made the Mississippi River flow backward.
