Wyanet is a farming town of about 1,000 people in north-central Illinois, roughly 100 miles west of Chicago. Reach it from I-80 at Exit 45, then head north through rural Bureau County. State Route 26 runs through town, connecting to Princeton 15 miles south. The town's old grain elevator still operates along the former railroad line.
