Wyandotte sits on the Detroit River about 12 miles southwest of downtown Detroit, easily reached via I-75 or scenic Jefferson Avenue along the waterfront. This former steel town offers river views and quick access to Detroit Metro Airport, just 15 miles away. The historic Ford-Wyandotte Works once produced windshields for Model T cars from 1922 to 1956.
