Reach it via US Highway 259, which connects north to Broken Bow (25 miles) and south toward Texas. Most visitors arrive from Fort Smith, Arkansas (60 miles southeast) or use Interstate 40 as their main corridor, then take local highways south. The town sits along the historic Texas Road, an old cattle trail from the 1800s.
