Worthing is a farming town of about 1,000 people in southeastern South Dakota, 20 miles southwest of Sioux Falls via Highway 60. Most visitors take I-29 to Exit 73, then head west. It's a quiet bedroom community surrounded by corn and soybean fields, with Canton Municipal Airport 15 miles east. The town historically supplies ornamental corn for the famous Mitchell Corn Palace decorations.
