Woodruff is a farming town of 371 people in northern Utah's Bear River Valley, about 30 miles northeast of Logan via US-89 and State Route 16. Most visitors drive through en route to Bear Lake or as a scenic detour from I-84. The high desert setting at 6,200 feet brings snowy winters and dry summers. Each July, the town's population doubles during Woodruff Fun Days, featuring a popular Dutch oven cook-off competition.
