Woodland is a tiny rural community in north-central Mississippi's Chickasaw County, accessible via Mississippi Highway 15. The main approaches are from Pontotoc (25 miles south) or New Albany to the north, with Interstate 22 about 30 miles away serving long-distance travelers. At just 132 residents, it's one of Mississippi's smallest incorporated places, where the historic Woodland School building still stands.
