Woodland is a small Hennepin County city of 477 people, located southwest of Minneapolis along Highway 5. Drivers reach it via I-494 (Exit 11) for long trips or Highway 101 for scenic regional routes. Flying Cloud Airport sits right next door for private flights. The city still runs its own municipal liquor store, a rare Twin Cities tradition.
