Wittenberg is a small Wisconsin city of about 1,000 people in Shawano County, accessible via Highway 29 east-west or Highway 45 from the south through New London. It's about 60 miles from both Green Bay and Wausau, surrounded by forests and farmland in the Wolf River valley. The restored 1800s Wittenberg Mill still grinds flour using water power from the Embarrass River.
