Winslow is a tiny farming town of 69 people in eastern Nebraska's Dodge County, about 40 miles northwest of Omaha via US Highway 275. The hour-long drive passes through corn and soybean country under big prairie skies. Scribner State Airport nearby still operates its original 1940s grass landing strip for local pilots.
