Winnett is a tiny agricultural town in central Montana that serves as the county seat for sparsely populated Petroleum County. Reach it via US Highway 191, which runs north-south through town, connecting to Billings (120 miles southeast) and Great Falls (130 miles northwest). The 1926 courthouse is one of America's smallest county courthouses, serving fewer than 500 residents across 1,654 square miles.
