Winnetoon is a farming community of 68 people in northeastern Nebraska's Knox County. Highway 12 runs right through town, connecting to Creighton and Niobrara. Most visitors arrive from Norfolk (35 miles southeast via Highway 81 north) or Sioux City (60 miles northeast). The Winnetoon Community Center serves as the town's main gathering spot for everything from meals to meetings.
