Wing is a small farming town of about 200 people in south-central North Dakota, located 35 miles northwest of Bismarck on Highway 83. The drive from Bismarck takes around 40 minutes through rolling wheat country. Most traffic consists of locals heading to the capital for services or grain trucks during harvest season. The town's massive concrete grain elevator serves as a prominent landmark visible for miles across the prairie.
