Winfield is a small East Texas town of 450 people located about 15 miles southeast of Mount Pleasant in Titus County. Drivers reach it via State Highway 155 from Mount Pleasant or longer routes using Interstate 30 and US Highway 271. The town sits in the Piney Woods region with rolling, forested terrain. Winfield still follows its original 1800s street grid from when it was a stagecoach stop between Marshall and Paris.
