Winchester is a small farming town in eastern Indiana, about 70 miles northeast of Indianapolis and 20 miles from Muncie. US Route 27 runs right through downtown, connecting to State Road 32 for easy access to surrounding areas. Most visitors arrive via I-70 to US 35 north, then US 27 south. The town centers around its historic courthouse square, where the 1890s Randolph County Courthouse's clock tower serves as a landmark visible across the surrounding farmland.
