Wilton is a farming community in eastern Iowa, 20 miles northwest of Davenport via Highway 38 and Interstate 80. The town sits along the Cedar River valley in corn and soybean country. Highway 38 connects south to I-80 at West Liberty, while Highway 70 runs east-west through town toward Muscatine. The restored 1895 Opera House downtown still hosts community theater performances in its original tin-ceiling interior.
