Wilmont is a farming town of 280 people in southwestern Minnesota, eight miles from Iowa on County Road 4. Most visitors arrive via US Highway 60 from Worthington or take I-35 south from the Twin Cities. The town centers around agriculture, with local roads connecting neighboring farm communities. The cooperative grain elevator towers over the prairie and can store half a million bushels.
