Wilmerding is a small Pennsylvania borough about 15 miles southeast of Pittsburgh with under 2,000 residents. Reach it via I-376 East to Exit 84, or take Route 8 south or US-30 east from the city. The nearby Allegheny County Airport serves business travelers. The town houses the George Westinghouse Museum in the original Air Brake Company building where Westinghouse invented the railroad air brake system.
