Williamsport is a small Potomac River town in Washington County, connected by I-81 and US Route 11. Most visitors exit I-81 at Exit 2, with Hagerstown 10 miles south and easy access to the broader Mid-Atlantic region. The town features one of Maryland's last working vertical lift bridges over Conococheague Creek.
