Willernie is a tiny riverfront community along the St. Croix River, about 30 minutes east of St. Paul via I-94 and Highway 95. The scenic drive follows the river valley through bluff country. Most visitors come for day trips along the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway or to see the historic 1911 railroad swing bridge that still operates for freight trains.
