Willard is a small Missouri city 12 miles north of Springfield via US Highway 160, easily reached from Interstate 44 at Exit 77. Most visitors arrive through Springfield-Branson National Airport, about 15 miles southeast. The town sits in Ozark foothills where prairie meets wooded hills, with Highway 123 providing scenic north-south connections to neighboring communities. Its restored 1920s movie theater downtown still shows current films with vintage charm.
