Wildrose is a small farming town of 260 people in northwestern North Dakota, about 15 miles southwest of Williston via Highway 1804. Located in Williams County's oil country, it sits where traditional agriculture meets Bakken energy development. Most visitors arrive through Williston, either from US Highway 2 or from Williston Basin International Airport. The town's towering grain elevator serves as a prairie landmark visible for miles across the flat farmland.
