Whittemore is a small farming community in northeastern Michigan, home to about 500 people. You'll reach it via State Route 65, the main north-south highway through Iosco County. Most visitors come from Tawas City to the southeast or use M-65 as their route to the Huron National Forest. The town hosts an annual Perch Festival each February celebrating the area's ice fishing tradition.
