Whitney is a tiny farming community of 46 people in remote northwestern Nebraska's Dawes County. Access is via US Highway 20 west from Chadron, then local county roads north. The nearest airport is Chadron Municipal, about 15 miles southeast. EV charging is very limited, so plan stops in larger towns. The local post office serves as one of the community's few remaining public gathering spots.
