Whiting is a small central Wisconsin town of 1,500 people, about 10 miles northeast of Stevens Point via County Road B. Most visitors fly into Stevens Point Municipal Airport, 15 miles southwest, then drive local roads to reach the community. The Tomorrow River runs right through downtown, where you can still see the old Whiting Dam from the town's milling days.
