Whitewater is a tiny farming community of 74 people in eastern Indiana, right near the Ohio border in Wayne County. Most folks reach it via US Route 27, which connects south to Liberty and north to Richmond about 15 miles away. The town sits in the scenic Whitewater Valley along the historic Whitewater Canal route from the 1840s.
