Whiteman Air Force Base lies 65 miles southeast of Kansas City in Missouri's farm country. Most visitors take I-70 west to Exit 58 at Concordia, then Highway 23 south to the gates. The base houses the world's only operational B-2 Spirit stealth bomber fleet.
