White Earth is a tiny farming community in northwestern North Dakota's oil country, home to just 63 people. Located along Highway 40 about 30 miles from Williston, it sits in the heart of Bakken oil field territory. The nearest airport is Tioga Municipal, 15 miles southeast. The town still maintains its original post office from the early 1900s railroad days.
