White City is a small farming town in east-central Kansas, about 60 miles northeast of Wichita along the Flint Hills prairie. Most visitors arrive via I-35 at Exit 128, with Emporia 20 miles south providing the nearest major services. The town's name comes from the white limestone used in its early buildings, including the historic grain elevator that remains visible for miles across the flat Kansas landscape.
