Wheatland is a small agricultural town in southeastern Wyoming, 75 miles north of Cheyenne on Interstate 25. The area features rolling plains at 4,700 feet elevation with cattle ranches and wheat farms. I-25 connects it to Denver and Casper, while Highway 34 runs east-west. The town's 1917 grain elevator towers over downtown as one of Wyoming's tallest structures outside major cities.
