Westside is a farming town of 300 people in western Iowa's Crawford County. Highway 141 runs north-south through town, connecting to Interstate 80 for longer trips to Des Moines or Omaha. Locals make short drives to nearby Vail and Denison for services. The town maintains its own municipal water system, rare for such a small community.
