Westfir is a tiny logging town of 253 people in the Cascade foothills, about 45 miles southeast of Eugene on Highway 58. Take I-5 to Eugene, then head east through Pleasant Hill and Oakridge to reach this forested community along the Willamette River. It's the gateway to tons of national forest recreation and home to Oregon's longest covered bridge at 180 feet.
