Westfield lies in western Massachusetts along the Westfield River, about 10 miles northwest of Springfield. Interstate 90 runs just north of the city with two exits serving the area, while Route 20 cuts through downtown connecting to Springfield and points west. The city sits between the Connecticut River Valley and Berkshire foothills, creating a mix of farmland and rolling terrain. Westfield State University calls this city home, and it's famously the birthplace of Indian Motorcycle Company in 1901.
