Western Grove is a tiny Ozark Mountain town of 438 people in Newton County, reached via Highway 123 from Harrison about 30 miles southwest. It's the closest community to Rush, a preserved zinc mining ghost town from the early 1900s that's now part of Buffalo National River. The area offers access to pristine wilderness and some of Arkansas's best floating rivers.
