West View is a small borough just eight miles northwest of Pittsburgh along the Ohio River. Route 65 north from downtown Pittsburgh provides the main access, following the river through several communities. From the north, take I-79 to the Sewickley exit and connect to Route 65 south. Pittsburgh International Airport sits about 15 miles away via Routes 65 and 376. The historic West View Park Danceland, a 1920s ballroom from the area's amusement park days, still hosts events today.
