West Point is a tiny farming town of 189 people in western Indiana, about 15 miles northwest of Lafayette via US Route 52. From Indianapolis, take I-65 north to Lafayette, then US 52 west. The town sits on flat prairie land with rich agricultural soils. Its historic grain elevator along the railroad tracks serves as the community's most recognizable landmark.
