West Milwaukee is a small city of 4,000 people just west of downtown Milwaukee along I-94. The community sits between Milwaukee and West Allis, with easy highway access via I-94, Highway 145, and State Highway 175. General Mitchell International Airport is about 10 miles southeast. The city is home to the historic Pabst Mansion, the ornate 37-room former residence of beer baron Frederick Pabst.
