Wesson is a small college town in south-central Mississippi, home to 2,250 residents and Copiah-Lincoln Community College. Located along Highway 51 about 45 miles south of Jackson, it's easily reached via Interstate 55 or the scenic Highway 51 route through pine forests and farmland. The town sits in rolling hill country with a humid subtropical climate. Copiah-Lincoln's red-brick campus serves as both the community's heart and its largest employer.
