Wendell is a growing Wake County town about 20 miles northeast of Raleigh, easily reached via US 64 East in 25 minutes. Many residents commute to Triangle jobs while enjoying small-town living in the rolling Piedmont countryside. The restored 1925 brick train depot now serves as the town's museum and visitor center.
