Wendell is a farming town of 186 people in west-central Minnesota's Grant County. Highway 27 runs right through town, connecting to Alexandria 25 miles east and continuing toward South Dakota. Most visitors come from I-94 via Alexandria or from nearby farming communities. The classic grain elevator towers over the prairie, visible for miles around.
