Wellington is a planned equestrian community in western Palm Beach County, about 25 miles from Palm Beach International Airport. Access comes via the Florida Turnpike or State Road 7 from I-95. The city transforms each winter during the 12-week Winter Equestrian Festival, when over 5,000 horses compete in what becomes America's temporary show jumping capital.
