Wellford is a small city in Spartanburg County, positioned right on Interstate 85 about 15 miles from Spartanburg. Take Exit 42 off I-85 to reach downtown, or use US Highway 29 which runs through town. Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport is about 20 miles away. The historic train depot, now a community center, anchors the downtown area and hosts local events year-round.
