Webster is a small town of 575 people in northwestern Wisconsin's lake country, about 60 miles from the Twin Cities. US Highway 35 is the main route, connecting south to Siren and north toward Minnesota. Most visitors come via Highway 35 for weekend lake trips and fishing. The town sits among numerous lakes in classic Northwoods terrain with dense forests. Webster maintains a public boat landing on Yellow Lake that's been central to local recreation since the logging era.
